ABOUT ADE
In asking my friends what words best describe me, they responded with “loyal and trustworthy". I’ve been close with most of the same friends my entire life and I would do anything for each of them. My longest, life long friend is as close to living with me as it gets. She lost her mother and needed support in her life and that’s when our friendship strengthened to where it is today. I would do the same for any of my friends.
Throughout my life I have also been very social and outgoing. I’ve been known to strike up a conversation with anyone and everyone and have made some of my best friends that way. I believe these strong characteristics would serve me well at TCU as I have never meet a stranger and would stand by my Horned Frogs to the end.

WHY TCU
TCU feels like home.
I love that TCU is a big enough school to meet new people each day, but small enough to build a really intentional and caring community of people around you.
I love that the class sizes would allow me to get to know my teachers beyond just a classroom setting. I appreciate that my teachers would give me individual support as more than just a student.
TCU also cares more about building community among its students than any other school I’ve heard of. I’ve heard countless stories of how TCU loves and cares for their students with great intentionality.
WHY INTERIOR DESIGN
I love being in a beautiful place.
Whether I’m standing at the top of a mountain or sitting in the lobby of a cool hotel, I am inspired and affected by my surroundings. Thanks to instagram, magazines, and inspiration from my mom’s own eye for design, I am constantly learning about spatial organization, textures and colors. There are endless ways to design any room, resulting in endless possibilities.
I love seeing what others create with art and furniture to make the blank canvas of walls and floor a home, art installation or gallery, or a concert venue.
TCU is on the forefront of design trends. I hope to train my eye for what is creative and unique as I also develop my own tastes through TCU’s Interior Design program.
MY PHOTOGRAPHY
lEADERSHIP
I pursue leadership opportunities to grow and use my gifts to help and serve others.
YOUNGLIFE - SENIOR LEADERSHIP
Through Young Life ministry at my school, I served as a senior leader welcoming the freshmen class to high school and building relationships with girls a few grades below me. I would not have developed those friendships without the chance to first be a leader. I attended Wilderness with Young Life as well and furthered those relationships.
CAMP LONGHORN - COUNSELOR AND MERRIT STORE MANAGER
As a 10-year attendee of Camp Longhorn, I was thrilled to be a counselor this year at my favorite place. Summer camp is the highlight of my year and I loved working in the merit store helping other campers with their merchandise selections. The best part was seeing every face around camp that I had personally assisted. Almost any job has an element of customer service and I learned a lot through my time in the merit store.
MEMORIAL HIGH SCHOOL - MUSTANG SWEETHEART
At home, I enjoyed the role of a Mustang Sweetheart, making memories with friends while supporting school spirit.
THE FORGE - VOLUNTEER
Another ministry close to my heart, which supports underserved kids living in Houston’s Third Ward, is called The Forge. As long as I can remember, I spent time at the Forge and creating awareness by bringing friends to learn more about the city we call home.
